K.Mendis hits century as hosts reach 321/4 at stumps on         Day 1

Srilanka closed the game on Day 1 of 1st Test at stumps in Galle International stadium. K.Mendis scored a ton making a 166* runs with dashing 18 fours including 2 sixes that helped Srilanka to make a massive total of  321 runs to put of board. A.Gunaratne added more 85 runs from his side but the day was taken by Mendis hitting a century unbeaten.

As runs were coming easily the Bangladeshi bowlers looked out of sorts and out of ideas with the day passing.A huge total is to be achieved for the Bangladesh batsman coming on Day 2.
