"Coming to the scenario you must be thinking of what type of unusual rules are there which exists?"
Well, most of the cricketing fans all over the world knows some usual rules of cricket that is bowled, run out, stump out, six , four , wide, no ball, etc. These rules are most usual because we all see these rules in implementation in the game most of the time. But there also exists some rules that are not used most of the time in the game, so lets talk about those unusual rules.
Everybody knows this rule. For those who don't know How's that is a rule invented in case where if the bowling team have to appeal for the LBW or for the Wicket-keeper after catching the bowl with slight touch of bat by the batsman.
The bowling team has to compulsory appeal for the wicket of batsman by saying How's that if they think they have got him.Umpire can only declare the batsman out by raising his finger if and only if the bowling team had made an appeal for it .It directly means that umpire cannot himself declare batsman out if the opposite team have not made an appeal. It doesn't matter even if the batsman is technically out or not opposite team should always appeal.
Most of us have scene that its the habit of wicket-keeper's to put their helmet on ground during the match. This penalty rules means that if the ball touches the helmet of Wicket-keeper which is kept on the ground during the match then in such case the bowling team has to pay PENALTY which in turn gives the batting team 5 extra runs for free..
Cricket has a rule of giving run-out if the batsman is not inside the crease at correct time or while the game is still on. Particularly this rule applies for non-striker, because most of the time the batsman at the non-striker end is outside the crease while the bowler have not even delivered his ball.
So here is a chance for the bowler to get him out if he sees the non-striker out of the bowling crease while running or delivering a ball. The bowler has to just stop and quickly touch ball to the wickets of the bowling crease. It doesn't matter if the bowler has delivered a ball or not. While in some cases if the non-striker is lucky enough he may simply get a warning from the umpire for being outside the crease.
With the new technology advancements in cricket, spider camera is one of them which makes the television viewers make a good feel of game. The ball hitted by batsman if it is stopped or hits the spider camera moving around the ground/field aerially or to any other means then it is declared as dead ball. Means that ball of an over is not counted in the game and has to be delivered again.
Don't worry let me explain you. Well, it is possible to play the game without any bails on the wickets/stumps. You must be thinking of why is it so??? This rule is applicable in the game if the wind is too much in the field and the bails cannot stick to the wicket because of it.

Appealing is a must
The bowling team has to compulsory appeal for the wicket of batsman by saying How's that if they think they have got him.Umpire can only declare the batsman out by raising his finger if and only if the bowling team had made an appeal for it .It directly means that umpire cannot himself declare batsman out if the opposite team have not made an appeal. Penalty if the ball touches the helmet of Wicket-keeper kept in the ground
Batsman cannot hit a ball more than once
In some cases it may happen that batsman will try to hit the ball more than once .So to handle such situation cricket have came up with a rule, if the batsman willfully hits the ball twice then he will be declared out. But if he does that by unintentionally the he is safe (not given out).Fielding Restrictions for bowling team
The bowling team cannot have more than 2 fielders behind the square on the leg-side of the batsman. The reason behind that if it happens so then all the credit will go to the bowling side because then the bowler can simply keep on delivering bouncers. This rule applies to all formats of the game.Non-striker must be inside the crease

Dead ball if the ball hits the spider camera
Wicket without Bails
If ball is lost
In cricket sometimes it may happen that the ball striked by the batsman with so much strength and power that the ball gets lost going outside the field/pavilion. According to the rule that ball is declared as "lost ball" and to the batting side the runs are credited to team or to the hitting batsman.Hope you like it
